Stand Up and Be Counted
Now more than ever, believers need to take a stand for what is right—we need to voice our disapproval of ungodliness in a loving way.

I believe most of us would agree that the world we live in is in desperate need of God’s restoration. From governmental legislation and indecent displays in public places to television programming and the movie industry, immorality has taken center stage while our Christian heritage has fallen by the wayside.

As Christians, many of us have sat by silently far too long, voicing our complaints about immorality but never really taking any action. I believe one of the primary reasons for this is because many of us have simply not known what to do. Dave and I feel very strongly that believers need to be informed about current issues and also motivated to pray and take action. For this reason, we have developed a new ministry outreach of Joyce Meyer Ministries called Stand Up and Be Counted.

Stand Up and Be Counted is dedicated to informing people of opportunities where they can take a stand for righteousness and against immorality. We are forming a large "action team" of people that we can quickly email with important information on current issues, as well as critical governmental legislation.

We will give a specific plan of action, along with mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of the relevant people to contact. We believe if enough people will let their voice be heard, those in positions of power will listen, and change will take place.
