Annual Women's Convention to Bring an Estimated $15 Million to St. Louis Economy

ST. LOUIS (9/18/07) – For the past 25 years, Joyce Meyer Ministries has held an annual women’s convention in St. Louis. It has grown from a few attendees to over 24,000 registered for this year’s event. The convention is expected to bring an estimated $15 million to the local economy, and over 4,500 hotel rooms are booked so far.


The St. Louis Convention and Visitor’s Center says, “Their [Joyce Meyer Ministries] annual women's convention benefits the entire hospitality community and is always one of the largest conventions in St. Louis."


This year’s speakers include Joyce Meyer, a #1 New York Times bestselling author; well-known speaker and author Bishop T.D. Jakes; and motivational speaker Christine Caine. Recording artist Delirious? will perform at each session, and Grammy award-winner CeCe Winans will provide special music.
