Annual Women's Convention to Bring an Estimated $17 Million to St. Louis Economy ST. LOUIS (9/18/06) — Over 17,000 women will flock to the Edward Jones Dome for Joyce Meyer Ministries 24th Annual Women’s Convention September 21-23. The event will bring an estimated $17 million to the local economy and over 10,000 hotel rooms are booked over the course of the convention.

The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission says, “Their [Joyce Meyer Ministries] annual women's convention benefits the entire hospitality community and is always one of the largest conventions in St. Louis."

This year’s speakers include Joyce Meyer, a New York Times bestselling author, one of the world’s leading practical Bible teachers, and one of Time magazine’s most influential evangelicals; John Maxwell, a cutting-edge entrepreneur and a leading provider of leadership training for personal and professional growth; as well as author and motivational speaker Lisa Bevere.
