Joyce Meyer Ministries Sponsors Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser

St. Louis, MO (5/18/05) — 92.3 (WIL) and Joyce Meyer Ministries will sponsor “Great Strides: A Walk to Cure Cystic Fibrosis,” the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s national walk event, celebrating its 17th anniversary on May 21, 2005 at Fenton Park in St. Louis. Registration for the 10K walk is at 9am and the walk begins at 10am.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “Great Strides Walk” draws participation from area corporations, schools, clubs, social organizations, and individual groups of family and friends with one goal in mind: to raise money necessary to help fund a cure for cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-threatening respiratory and digestive disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. 92.3 WIL and Joyce Meyer Ministries invite all participants to be a member of a winning team and to share in the ultimate victory against this devastating disease— a cure. Additional information on the “Great Strides Walk” is available at www.wil92.com.

92.3 (WIL) is owned and operated by Bonneville International Corporation. Founded in 1964 and headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, Bonneville is a privately held company and has more than 20 media properties in 5 states, including WARH, WVRV, WRTH & WIL in the St. Louis market.
